Chris Daughtry

Christopher Adam Daughtry is an American singer, musician, and actor. He is best known as the lead vocalist and guitarist for the rock band Daughtry, which he formed after finishing fourth on the fifth season of American Idol. Daughtry's self-titled debut album, released by RCA Records, became the fastest selling debut rock album in Nielsen SoundScan history, selling over one million copies within five weeks. The album reached number one on the Billboard chart in its ninth week. With his success on American Idol and as the frontman of Daughtry, Chris Daughtry is one of the most successful contestants in American Idol history. He has also received a Grammy nomination for Best Rock Song.
