Chris Haywood Biography
Chris Haywood (born c. 1948) is an English-born Australian actor, writer, and producer. With close to 500 screen performances, Haywood has established himself as a versatile talent in the industry. In addition to his acting work, he has also worked as a casting director, art director, sound recordist, camera operator, gaffer, grip, location, and unit manager. Haywood began his career in the Nimrod Theatre Company in Sydney, where he helped build the premises using scrap timber. He later became the artistic director of the Pros and Cons Playhouse at Parramatta Gaol from 1979 to 1981. Haywood has appeared in numerous films and television shows, showcasing his range and versatility as an actor.
