Chris Kratt

Christopher Frederick James Kratt (born July 19, 1969) is an American zoologist, educational nature show host, and YouTuber. He is best known for co-creating and co-hosting children's television series such as Kratts' Creatures, Zoboomafoo, Be the Creature, and Wild Kratts. Kratt and his older brother Martin grew up in Warren Township, New Jersey, and have collaborated on numerous educational programs throughout their careers. Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Carleton College and has a strong passion for ecology. He has worked as an intern at Conservation International and started the Carleton Organization for Biodiversity. With his brother Martin, Chris continues to educate and entertain children through their popular wildlife-focused shows.
