Chris Larkin Biography
Chris Larkin (born Christopher Stephens on June 19, 1967) is an English actor. He is the elder son of actors Dame Maggie Smith and Sir Robert Stephens and the brother of actor Toby Stephens. Larkin chose his stage name to distance himself from his famous parents and selected Larkin in honor of his favorite poet, Philip Larkin. He trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). Larkin is best known for his portrayal of Hermann Göring in the film Hitler: The Rise of Evil and for his roles as Charles Darwin in the PBS series Evolution and William Wilberforce in the radio production of Grace Victorious. He also appeared in Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World and Valkyrie.
