Chris Leben

Christian Cyrus Leben, born on July 21, 1980, is an American former mixed martial artist, referee, and bare knuckle boxer. He gained prominence in the UFC's Middleweight division, competing from 2002 to 2013 with a record of 12-10 in 22 appearances. Leben first appeared in the inaugural season of The Ultimate Fighter reality series and also fought in the now-defunct WEC, where he became the inaugural WEC Middleweight Champion. Known for his toughness, determination, and powerful left hand, Leben achieved five consecutive victories before facing a knockout loss to Anderson Silva, the future UFC Middleweight Champion. Originally from Portland, Oregon, Leben overcame challenges growing up without his father and dedicated his career to the world of martial arts.
