Chris Mulkey (born May 3, 1948) is an American film and television actor, as well as a blues and Americana singer-songwriter. He gained recognition for his supporting role as Annie Potts's character's husband in the TV show Any Day Now from 1998 to 2002. Mulkey has appeared in various films and TV shows, including Captain Phillips, Cloverfield, 24, Boardwalk Empire, Friday Night Lights, Justified, and Twin Peaks. He also starred in the 1985 Supertramp music video 'Brother Where You Bound' and appeared in the Wing Commander franchise as Jacob 'Hawk' Manley. Additionally, Mulkey leads a southern blues band called Chris Mulkey and Blue Highway.
