Chris Packham

Christopher Gary Packham CBE (born 4 May 1961) is an English naturalist, nature photographer, television presenter and author. He gained popularity as the host of the CBBC children's nature series The Really Wild Show from 1986 to 1995. Packham's career in television continued to flourish as he went on to present the BBC nature series Springwatch, including Autumnwatch and Winterwatch, starting from 2009. Born in Southampton, Hampshire, Packham studied Zoology at the University of Southampton, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree. He initially pursued a career as a wildlife cameraman but decided to focus on presenting. With his wealth of knowledge and passion for nature, Packham has become a prominent figure in the field of wildlife television.
