Christopher Pang is an Australian actor and producer, born on December 29, 1984, in Melbourne. Best known for his roles in Crazy Rich Asians (2018) as Colin Khoo and Tomorrow, When the War Began (2010) as Lee Takkam. Pang comes from a family with Wing Chun instructors as parents. His paternal grandparents hail from Canton, China, while his father, Barry Pang, was born and raised in Australia. His mother, Anne Pang, migrated from Taiwan to Australia in the 1970s. Pang attended Scotch College for his education. Interestingly, Pang is distantly related to Bruce Lee through his paternal grandmother's cousin, as both families come from the same village in Canton. Additionally, through his mother, Pang is a descendant of Wong Nai Siong, a Chinese revolutionary leader and humanitarian known for his role in overthrowing the Qing dynasty's propaganda machine in the Fujian province. Pang initially pursued multimedia studies in university before transitioning to acting and producing.
