Chris Pontius (born July 16, 1974) is an American stunt performer and television personality. He gained fame as a cast member of the reality comedy show Jackass and co-host of its spinoff Wildboyz alongside Steve-O. Born in Pasadena, California, Pontius grew up in San Luis Obispo. He started his career in skateboarding magazine Big Brother where he later became a writer. Pontius joined the Jackass cast from its first episode in 2000. Known for his daring stunts, Pontius often incorporates nudity into his performances, such as dancing in public wearing only a thong. He is also recognized for his character pranks, including dressing up as the devil.
