Chris Wallace

Chris Wallace is an American broadcast journalist known for his tough and wide-ranging interviews. Born on October 12, 1947, he has had a 50-year career in journalism, working as a correspondent, moderator, or anchor on CBS, ABC, NBC, Fox News, and now CNN. Wallace is often compared to his father, 60 Minutes journalist Mike Wallace. He has received numerous accolades, including three Emmy Awards, a Peabody Award, a George Polk Award, the duPont-Columbia University Silver Baton Award, and a Paul White lifetime achievement award. As a teenager, Wallace worked as an assistant to Walter Cronkite, and after graduating from Harvard University, he became an aggressive and ambitious reporter for The Boston Globe. He later shifted his focus to broadcast news, making a significant impact in the field.
