Christian Slater

Christian Michael Leonard Slater (born August 18, 1969) is an American actor and producer. He gained recognition for his debut film role in The Legend of Billie Jean (1985) and achieved further fame for his portrayal of Jason 'J.D.' Dean in the satire Heathers (1989). Slater received critical acclaim for his lead role in the TV series Mr. Robot (2015–2019), winning a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor – Series, Miniseries or Television Film in 2016. Born in New York City, Slater comes from a theatrical family and started his career on the soap opera One Life to Live. He has also appeared in notable films such as Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (1991) and Interview with the Vampire (1994).
