Christine Ebersole Biography
Christine Ebersole (born February 21, 1953) is an American actress and singer. She has appeared in film, television, and on stage. Ebersole is known for her performances in the Broadway musicals 42nd Street and Grey Gardens, for which she won two Tony Awards. Her television credits include co-starring on the TBS sitcom Sullivan & Son as Carol Walsh, and earning an Emmy Award nomination for her work in One Life to Live. She is also recognized for her recurring roles as Ms. Newberg on Royal Pains and White Diamond in the Steven Universe franchise. Since 2019, she has played the role of Dottie on Bob Hearts Abishola. Ebersole was born in Winnetka, Illinois and has Swiss-German and Irish ancestry. She graduated from New Trier High School and attended MacMurray College and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
