Christine Horne Biography
Christine Horne is a Canadian actress born on December 14, 1981, in Aurora, Ontario. She earned her BFA in Theatre from York University in 2004 and has since established herself as a prominent stage actor in Toronto. Horne has been recognized for her talent with three Dora Mavor Moore Award nominations for Outstanding Performance by a Female in a Principal Role, winning in 2010 for her portrayal of The Governess in The Turn of the Screw. In 2019, she took on the role of Prince Hamlet in Ravi Jain's gender-flipped adaptation of Hamlet. Horne's notable screen appearances include winning the Canadian Screen Award for Best Guest Performance in a Drama Series in 2016 for Remedy and receiving a nomination in 2017 for Saving Hope. She also received a nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Canadian Film at the Vancouver Film Critics Circle Awards in 2007 for her role in The Stone Angel. Horne is married to television writer and producer.
