Christopher Heyerdahl

Christopher Heyerdahl is a Canadian actor known for his roles in various television shows and films. He was born on September 18, 1963, in British Columbia, Canada, and is of Norwegian and Scottish descent. Heyerdahl's father emigrated from Norway to Canada in the 1950s, and he is also a cousin of Thor Heyerdahl. He studied at the University of Oslo and is fluent in Norwegian. Heyerdahl has appeared in popular TV shows such as Supernatural, where he portrayed the character Alastair, Stargate Atlantis as Wraith Todd, and Hell on Wheels as the enigmatic 'Swede.' He has also appeared in The Twilight Saga as Marcus and in the film Van Helsing as Sam.
