Christopher McCombs

Christopher Brian McCombs (born August 25, 1980) is an American actor and model. He gained recognition as the creator, star, writer, and producer of the Japanese on-demand series The Benza and its spin-off Benza English on Amazon Prime Video. McCombs is also known for his portrayal of Michael in the Netflix original series Followers and for his stage role as Hoteye in the live-action production of Fairy Tail. Fluent in Japanese, he has received numerous acting awards for his performances in both English and Japanese. McCombs, originally from Geneva, Ohio, moved to Cleveland with his mother, Karen Callahan, during his childhood. His passion for the Japanese language stemmed from playing video games in Japanese, influenced by his father, David McCombs.
