    Christopher Frederick Templeton is a Scottish/Hungarian scriptwriter and director known for his work in radio plays and television documentaries. Born on 13 December 1960 in Los Angeles, California, he is the son of the renowned Glasgow playwright and screenwriter, William Templeton. Templeton graduated from the London International Film School in 1985 and started his career as a writer for radio. He gained recognition for his work on the BBC World Service's Play of the Week series, directing politically charged plays that shed light on human rights abuses in the post-Cold War era of the 1990s. One of his notable productions, 'Mirad, A Boy from Bosnia,' received critical acclaim for its portrayal of the Bosnian genocide. Templeton's later work, 'Rupa Lucian, Child of Romania,' exposed the atrocities committed by Romania's 'Securitatae.'
