Christopher Wiehl (born October 29, 1970) is an American actor known for his roles in both television and film. Born in Yakima, Washington to a Danish and German descent, Wiehl's father was an FBI agent. He graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts degree in dramatic arts. During his college years, Wiehl starred in various plays such as Henry V, The Owl and the Pussycat, and Lonestar. One of his notable roles was as quarterback Derek McConnell in ESPN's series Playmakers. He has also made guest appearances on popular television shows like Popular, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Birds of Prey, and Charmed. Additionally, Wiehl has appeared in films such as Broken Hearts Club and Can't Hardly Wait. He was also a guest star on Buffy the Vampire Slayer during its first season.
