Chuck Low (1928-2017) was an American actor known for his role as Morris 'Morrie' Kessler in Martin Scorsese's film Goodfellas (1990). Born in New York City to a Russian mother and Austrian-Polish father, Low also appeared in other Robert De Niro films including The Mission, The King of Comedy, and Sergio Leone's Once Upon a Time in America. He made a guest appearance in the first season of The Sopranos as Shlomo Teittleman. Low's most memorable role was as Morrie, the comical character known for his 'Morrie's Wig Shop' commercial and his pestering of Jimmy Conway. He wore a distinctive dark brown leather blazer.
