Claire Danes

Claire Danes (born April 12, 1979) is an American actress known for her work in film and television. She has received three Primetime Emmy Awards and four Golden Globe Awards throughout her career. Danes gained recognition for her role in the teen drama series My So-Called Life, for which she won a Golden Globe Award and received a Primetime Emmy nomination. Her film debut came in 1994 with Little Women, and she later starred in Romeo + Juliet, The Rainmaker, The Hours, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, Shopgirl, and Stardust. Danes has also appeared in theater, including an Off-Broadway production of The Vagina Monologues and a Broadway revival of Pygmalion.
