Claire Foy

Claire Elizabeth Foy is a British actress known for her portrayal of Queen Elizabeth II in the Netflix series The Crown. Born on April 16, 1984, she made her screen debut in the pilot episode of Being Human in 2008. Foy's professional stage debut was at the Royal National Theatre and she played the title role in the BBC miniseries Little Dorrit. Her film debut was in the historical fantasy drama Season of the Witch in 2011. Foy received critical acclaim for her role as Anne Boleyn in the BBC miniseries Wolf Hall and has also appeared in other television series and films. In 2018, she starred in Unsane and portrayed Janet Shearon in the biographical film First Man.
