    Claire Elizabeth Scanlon is an American editor and director. Born in 1971, Scanlon has achieved recognition for her work in the television industry. She has been nominated for four Primetime Emmy Awards, winning one, for her editing work on popular shows such as The Office and The Apprentice. Scanlon's talent and dedication have also earned her an American Cinema Editors Award in 2014 for her editing work on The Office. In addition to her editing career, she has directed episodes for various television shows including Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, The Good Place, Fresh off the Boat, Glow, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Scanlon made her directorial debut with the Netflix film Set It Up, and has also directed the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt interactive special for Netflix and the comedy-mystery series Mapleworth Murders for Quibi.
