Claire van der Boom is an Australian actress born in 1983. She gained recognition in Australia for her roles in the TV shows Love My Way and East West 101. In 2008, van der Boom starred in the Australian neo-noir thriller The Square. She is internationally known for her appearance as Stella Karamanlis in the HBO miniseries The Pacific and her recurring role as the ex-wife of Det. Danny Williams in the 2010 remake of Hawaii Five-O. Van der Boom attended Presbyterian Ladies' College in Perth and graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in 2005. She has made notable contributions to both television and film throughout her career.
