Clare-Hope Ashitey is a British actress born on February 12, 1987. She attended the Centre Stage School of Performing Arts in Southgate and The Latymer School in London. Ashitey gained early recognition for her role in the film Children of Men (2006) during a gap year between school and university. In 2018, she starred in the Netflix Original crime drama series Seven Seconds. Ashitey's parents, Tina and Paul, are both from Ghana, and she has an older sister and brother. She graduated with a degree in anthropology from SOAS, University of London in 2009.
