Clark Gregg Biography
Robert Clark Gregg Jr. (born April 2, 1962) is an American actor, director, and screenwriter. He is best known for his portrayal of Phil Coulson in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films and television series from 2008 to 2021. Gregg also voiced Coulson in the animated series Ultimate Spider-Man (2012–2017) and in various video games. Prior to his Marvel role, he gained recognition as FBI Special Agent Mike Casper in the TV series The West Wing (2001–2004) and as Richard in The New Adventures of Old Christine (2006–2010). Additionally, Gregg has written and directed films such as Choke (2008) and Trust Me (2013), and appeared in various other films including One Hour Photo (2002) and We Were Soldiers (2002).
