Clark Johnson Biography
Clark Johnson is an American-Canadian actor and director. Born on September 10, 1954, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Johnson is best known for his roles in various television shows. He played David Jefferson in Night Heat from 1985 to 1988, Clark Roberts in E.N.G. from 1989 to 1994, Meldrick Lewis in Homicide: Life on the Street from 1993 to 1999, and Augustus Haynes in The Wire in 2008. Johnson has also worked in film and has directed several episodes of popular TV shows. He attended various universities, including Eastern Michigan University, the University of Ottawa, and Loyola College/Concordia University, before studying film at the Ontario College of Art. Johnson's siblings include jazz singer Molly Johnson and actress/singer Taborah Johnson.
