Claudette Nevins (1937–2020) was an American stage, film, and television actress. Born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, Nevins grew up in Brooklyn, New York. She graduated from the Fiorello H. LaGuardia School of Performing Arts and earned a degree in English from New York University in 1957. Nevins made her Broadway debut in 1960 in The Wall and appeared in other productions such as Plaza Suite and Danton's Death. She also had off-Broadway credits, including In White America. After starring in The Great White Hope with Brock Peters, Nevins moved to Los Angeles and began working in television. She notably appeared in the long-running soap opera Love of Life.
