Claudia Bassols

Claudia Bassols Alonso (born October 3, 1979) is a Spanish actress from Barcelona, Spain. She graduated from the American School of Barcelona in 1997 and earned a degree in Musical Comedy from Coco Comín in Barcelona. Bassols also studied English language and literature at the University of Barcelona and drama in various locations including Paris, London, Los Angeles, North Carolina, and Australia. Known for her multilingual skills, Bassols speaks Catalan, Spanish, English, French, Italian, and Swedish. She has appeared in the 2008 film Blackout alongside Amber Tamblyn, and in the PBS series Spain... on the Road Again with Mario Batali, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Mark Bittman. Bassols also filmed a lead role in The Eagle Path with Jean-Claude Van Damme.
