Claudia Black

Claudia Lee Black (born 11 October 1972) is an Australian actress known for her roles in Farscape as Aeryn Sun, Stargate SG-1 as Vala Mal Doran, and Pitch Black as Sharon 'Shazza' Montgomery. She has also made notable appearances in video games, including Uncharted, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Destiny, Gears of War 3, Gears of War 4, and Gears 5. Black had a recurring role as Dahlia in The Originals and starred as Dr. Sabine Lommers in The CW's Containment. Born and raised in Sydney, New South Wales, Black has lived in various countries including Australia, New Zealand, Spain, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States. She comes from a Jewish family and attended the Anglican Kambala School in Sydney. Her parents, Jules and Judy Black, are medical academics based in Australia.
