Claudie Blakley (born 4 January 1974) is an English actress known for her work in film and television. She trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama and received critical acclaim for her performance in The Seagull, winning the Ian Charleson Award in 1998. Blakley is best known for her role as Emma Timmins in the BBC drama series Lark Rise to Candleford. She has also appeared in notable films such as Gosford Park and Pride and Prejudice. In addition, Blakley has appeared in the BBC serial Cranford and played Cynthia Lennon in the television production of Lennon Naked. She continues to showcase her talent on both stage and screen.
