Claudio Bigagli

Claudio Bigagli (born December 8, 1955) is an Italian actor known for his work in both films and television. He has appeared in over 40 productions since his debut in 1976. Born in Montale, Bigagli studied at the Silvio d’Amico Academy of Dramatic Arts and began his career in the Dario Fo's stage company. He gained recognition for his role in the 1982 film 'The Night of the Shooting Stars' directed by the Taviani brothers. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, he was one of the most sought-after Italian actors. In 1998, he made his directorial debut with 'Il guerriero Camillo' and has also worked as a playwright.
