Clemency Burton-Hill

Clemency Burton-Hill (born 1981) is an English broadcaster, author, novelist, journalist, and violinist. She also worked as an actress in her early career. Burton-Hill was born in Hammersmith, London, and grew up near central London with her mother. She holds scholarships at St Paul's Girls' School and Westminster School. She studied English at Magdalene College, Cambridge, where she achieved a Double First. Additionally, she is a former scholar at the Royal College of Music, where she received the Hugh Bean Violin Prize. In January 2020, she underwent emergency surgery in New York City after suffering an AVM brain haemorrhage. She continues to work on her recovery.
