Clint Patrick Black is an American country music singer, songwriter, musician, actor, and record producer. Born on February 4, 1962, in Long Branch, New Jersey, Black rose to fame with his debut album Killin' Time in 1989. The album produced four consecutive number one singles on the US Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts. Throughout his career, Black has released twelve studio albums and several compilation albums, with more than 30 singles reaching the top of the US Billboard country charts. Apart from his music career, Black has also ventured into acting, appearing in the TV series Wings and the film Maverick. He also starred in the 1998 film Still Holding On: The Legend of Cadillac Jack. In 2003, Black founded his own record label, Equity Music Group.
