Clint Eastwood Biography
Clint Eastwood (born May 31, 1930) is an American actor and film director. He gained popularity through the Western TV series Rawhide before achieving international fame as the 'Man with No Name' in Sergio Leone's 'Dollars Trilogy' of Spaghetti Westerns during the mid-1960s. Eastwood is also known for his portrayal of antihero cop Harry Callahan in the Dirty Harry film series throughout the 1970s and 1980s. Apart from acting, Eastwood served as the mayor of Carmel-by-the-Sea, California from 1986 to 1988. Some of his notable films include Every Which Way but Loose (1978), The Outlaw Josey Wales (1976), Escape from Alcatraz (1979), and In the Line of Fire (1993).
