Clyde Kusatsu Biography
Clyde Kusatsu (born September 13, 1948) is an American actor of Japanese descent. He began his acting career in Hawaii and attended Iolani School before graduating with a theatre degree from Northwestern University. Kusatsu made his television debut in the show Kung Fu, where he appeared in four episodes. He also played multiple roles in four episodes of M*A*S*H and portrayed Rev. Chong in several episodes of All in the Family. Kusatsu has been a regular on various television series, including Bring 'Em Back Alive and Island Son. He has appeared in numerous television movies, such as Farewell to Manzanar, which focused on Japanese-American internment during World War II. Kusatsu is also a member of East West Players, the oldest Asian-American theatre company in Los Angeles.
