Colin Allred

Colin Allred is an American politician, lawyer, and former professional football player. He was born on April 15, 1983, in Dallas, Texas. Allred played as a linebacker for the Tennessee Titans in the NFL. After leaving football, he pursued a law degree and earned his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley. Allred has served in the Obama administration, working at the Department of Housing and Urban Development and later at the Executive Office for United States Attorneys. He is a member of the Democratic Party and currently represents Texas' 32nd congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives. Allred announced his candidacy for the 2024 United States Senate election in Texas on May 3, 2023.
