Colin Charles Greenwood (born 26 June 1969) is an English musician and bassist known for his work with the rock band Radiohead. He is skilled in playing the bass guitar, upright bass, and electronic instruments. Greenwood attended Abingdon School in Abingdon, England, where he met the other band members, including his younger brother, guitarist Jonny Greenwood. Radiohead has garnered critical acclaim and sold over 30 million albums. In 2019, Greenwood was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Radiohead. He has also collaborated with various musicians and contributed to solo projects by his bandmates. Greenwood's family has historical ties to the British Communist Party and the socialist Fabian Society.
