Colin Jost Biography
Colin Jost is an American comedian, writer, and actor. Born on June 29, 1982, in New York City, Jost grew up in Staten Island. He attended Regis High School in Manhattan where he served as the editor of the school newspaper. Later, he went on to study at Harvard University. Jost joined the cast of Saturday Night Live (SNL) in 2005 as a staff writer and became a co-anchor of Weekend Update in 2014. He also served as one of the show's co-head writers from 2012 to 2015 and returned as a head writer in 2017 until 2022. Apart from his work on SNL, Jost has appeared in the film Staten Island Summer and is known for his role as a writer and producer of Impractical Jokers.
