Colleen Zenk is an American actress, best known for her role as Barbara Ryan in the daytime TV drama As the World Turns, which she played from September 1978 until the show ended in September 2010. Born in Barrington, Illinois, Zenk studied drama at The Catholic University of America. Initially aspiring to be a dancer, her career shifted to acting after a knee injury. Zenk began her career appearing in print ads and TV commercials, including ones for Kellogg's and L'eggs pantyhose. She also co-starred on Broadway in Bring Back Birdie and appeared in the movie musical Annie directed by John Huston. Zenk has made notable TV appearances throughout her career.
