He portrayed the giant green swamp creature, Man-Thing, in Marvel's 'Man-Thing' film and gained recognition for his role as Gregor Clegane ('The Mountain') in the first season of HBO's hit series 'Game of Thrones.' Stevens was originally cast as Bolg, son of Azog, in Peter Jackson's 'Hobbit' trilogy but was later replaced by Lawrence Makoare. He also co-wrote the 2009 martial arts film 'Bangkok Adrenaline.' Stevens has had a successful wrestling career, holding the IWA Heavyweight Championship twice.
