Conchata Ferrell

Conchata Galen Ferrell (March 28, 1943 - October 12, 2020) was an American actress best known for her role as Berta the housekeeper in the sitcom Two and a Half Men. Born in Loudendale, West Virginia, she was raised in Charleston and later moved to Circleville, Ohio with her family. After attending West Virginia University and working various jobs, Ferrell graduated from Marshall University with a degree in history education. She began her acting career with stage performances and went on to appear in numerous television shows. Ferrell received Primetime Emmy Award nominations for her performances in Two and a Half Men and L.A. Law.
