    Conor Mullen Biography
    Conor Mullen (born 1966) is an Irish actor known for his roles in various television series. He portrayed Frank in Smother, Stuart McElroy in Holby City, and Aidan Doherty in the 2007 BBC1 drama series Rough Diamond. Born in Dublin, Mullen grew up in Sutton/Howth on the north side of the city. He began his acting career after attending drama classes at the Brendan Smith Academy in Dublin and later studied acting at The Neighbourhood Playhouse in New York. Mullen is also a voice-over artist, lending his voice to numerous advertisements on Irish radio and serving as the voice of the speaking clock in Ireland. He is the first cousin of Larry Mullen, Jr., the drummer of Irish band U2.
