Conrad Vernon Biography
Conrad Vernon (born July 11, 1968) is an American voice actor, director, writer, and storyboard artist. Known for his work on the DreamWorks animated film series Shrek, he has also contributed to other films such as Monsters vs. Aliens, Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted, and Penguins of Madagascar. In addition to his work at DreamWorks, Vernon co-directed non-DreamWorks animated films including Sony Pictures' Sausage Party and MGM's The Addams Family. Originally from Lubbock, Texas, he studied at CalArts and began his career as a storyboard artist. He joined DreamWorks in 1996 and worked on films like Antz before becoming a writer for Shrek. Vernon also voiced the character Gingerbread Man and appeared in Shrek 4-D and Sinbad.
