Constance Towers Biography
Constance Mary Towers is an American actress and singer, born on May 20, 1933, in Whitefish, Montana. She gained prominence in the 1950s for her roles in several mainstream films before transitioning to theater. Towers made her Broadway debut in the musical Anya in 1965 and went on to star in four other Broadway productions throughout the 1970s. She received two Emmy Award nominations for her work. In the 1980s, Towers appeared as Clarissa McCandless on the daytime drama Capitol and later portrayed Helena Cassadine on General Hospital. With a successful career spanning film, stage, and television, Towers has established herself as a versatile and talented performer.
