Cordae Amari Dunston, professionally known as Cordae, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. He gained popularity with his remixes of popular songs, including Eminem's 'My Name Is' and J. Cole's '1985.' These remixes were uploaded to WorldStarHipHop's YouTube channel and received positive feedback from both mainstream media and the online rap community. Cordae's debut studio album, 'The Lost Boy,' was released in 2019 and was widely acclaimed. It garnered two Grammy nominations for Best Rap Album and Best Rap Song for the single 'Bad Idea.' Cordae was a member of the YBN collective until 2020 when he decided to drop the 'YBN' from his stage name.
