    Corey Michael Cott is an American actor and singer, born on March 30, 1990. He gained recognition for his role as Jack Kelly in the Broadway musical Newsies, taking over from Jeremy Jordan. Cott also originated the role of Donny Novitski in the Broadway musical Bandstand. He was born in Columbus, Mississippi, and grew up in Spring Arbor, Michigan and Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Cott attended Chagrin Falls High School and later graduated from Carnegie Mellon School of Drama. While studying at Carnegie Mellon, he began his professional acting career with Pittsburgh CLO, performing in shows like Miss Saigon, Jekyll and Hyde, and Jesus Christ Superstar. Cott then moved to New York City to pursue his acting career further.
