Cory Michael Smith is an American actor born on November 14, 1986. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Edward Nygma / The Riddler in the popular Fox television series Gotham. Smith also appeared in the 2014 film Camp X-Ray and performed in the 2013 Broadway production of Breakfast at Tiffany's, alongside Emilia Clarke. Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, Smith graduated from Hilliard Darby High School in 2005. During his time at Otterbein University, he participated in various plays and studied art musical theater with a minor in jazz piano. Smith has also been involved in regional theater productions and made appearances in several New York City premieres.
