Cosimo Massimo Fusco is an Italian actor born on September 23, 1962, in Matera, Italy. He received his education in Los Angeles, Rome, and Paris. Fusco gained recognition for his portrayal of Paolo, one of Rachel's boyfriends, in the popular American sitcom Friends. He has appeared in various Italian, German, and American productions, including the movies Gone in 60 Seconds, Coco Chanel, Angels & Demons, and The Man Who Invented Christmas. Fusco's television credits include appearances in Alias, La piovra, and The Mentalist, among others. From 2008 to 2009, he portrayed the character of Judge Alberto Somaschi in the Italian series Il bene e il male.
