Born on April 13, 1981, in New York City, New York, Peldon started her career as a child actor alongside her younger sister, Ashley. She graduated from Skidmore College, where she majored in abnormal psychology and minored in film studies. Peldon gained early recognition by starring on Broadway at the age of 8 in the Gershwin Theatre's production of Meet Me in St. Louis. She is best known for her three-season role as Jonathan Taylor Thomas's on-screen girlfriend, Lauren, on Home Improvement, as well as her appearances on Boston Public, That '70s Show, Entourage, and many other popular shows. Peldon has also appeared in films such as Angel Heart, Out on a Limb, Little Giants, and indie film Skin.
