Craig Braun
Craig Braun is an American actor and former graphic designer, born on June 1, 1939. He gained recognition for his collaborations with renowned artists Andy Warhol and Tom Wilkes, producing iconic album covers. In 1974, Braun and Wilkes were awarded a Grammy for their work on the album 'Tommy.' Prior to this, Braun had been nominated twice, including a nomination with Warhol for the Rolling Stones' 'Sticky Fingers' design. Notably, he also created the logo for the Carpenters. Braun's innovative approach to album covers during the vinyl era transformed the medium into interactive experiences. Born in Chicago, Braun grew up in a working-class family and attended university. Throughout his career, he associated with artists and rock musicians. Braun faced personal challenges, including a battle with cocaine addiction and legal issues related to tax evasion.
