Craig Jordan is a renowned scientist with American and British citizenship. He specializes in drugs for breast cancer treatment and prevention and holds the positions of Professor of Breast Medical Oncology and Professor of Molecular and Cellular Oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. Previously, he served as the Scientific Director and Vice Chairman of Oncology at the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center of Georgetown University. Jordan is credited with being the first to discover the breast cancer prevention properties of tamoxifen and the scientific principles for adjuvant therapy with antihormones. His groundbreaking work also includes the discovery of selective estrogen receptor modulators (SERMs) for the prevention of various diseases in women. Currently, he is focused on developing a new Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) that can prevent breast cancer without increasing the risk of the disease.
